The Outline is the roadmap that gets you started in the right direction and takes you to the end, without getting lost on the way. Not only that, but outlining gives you the chance to weigh and play the story ideas in your mind. As you outline your story, you will also brainstorm and experiment with multiple possibilities and options, until you come up with the plots, twists and turns, conflicts and resolutions that best suit the story idea you have in mind.
